BANIPREET
Banipreet is a singer-songwriter based in Canberra. Raised in the southwestern region of Sydney, she grew up singing 16th-century hymns at the local Sikh temple.
While her connection to north India, the Punjab, remained strong, her Western identity invited an appetite of pop culture, hip-hop beats, and jazz melodies that resulted in her studying a bachelor of visual arts at the University of Sydney.
